Tender: Tender at Luxor
Located off to the side in the Luxor casino, the Tender restaurant is top notch. Quite expected as the major casinos must compete with one another. There is a nice waiting area in front where you can enjoy a drink in comfort if you have to wait for a table. We were led to a quiet room of only a dozen or so tables, well away from the casino noise. Service was professional and friendly. Several cuts of steaks in various sizes, as well as lobster, seafood, ciopinno, soups and salads. We split a 22 oz bone in ribeye,
Favorite Dish: They offered a soup sampler, 3 off of the 4 offered on the menu. The mushroom, lobster bisque, pumpkin soup was excellent. One of the specials of the evening was a black truffle mash potato. The bone in ribeye was done to perfection, all though it would have been better on a platter warm enough to last the time it takes to eat through 22 oz. The wine was a Maso from Verona and a bargain at only 30 for the bottle.- Food and Dining

More: The Buffet at Luxor (part 2): moderate priced buffet
Part two of my More: The buffet at luxor with more pictures.
More: The Buffet at Luxor, which is easily one of the most popular buffets in Las vegas since the price moderate. More: The Buffet at Luxor is Located in the lower level of the :uxor hotel and inside this massive buffet area are the Indiana Jones Type Motifs and there could be a long line during lunch and dinner as you don't need any reservations to enter the buffet. MORE features a massive 30-foot salad bar, homemade pizza station, two delectable carving stations, a tasty omelet station, and specialties from around the world. The scrumptious dessert station features French pastries and sugar-free dessert.
Favorite Dish: The choices here are really wide and there are various cooking stations and price wise, this is a steal for just $ 20 for a dinner buffet including the unlimited drinks too. A downside of a cheap buffet is that they don't have special stuffs like snow crabs, alaskan king crab legs, huge scallops or lobsters unlike the other buffets at the Wynn or Bellagio or MGM Grand (but they cost $ 35 or more).

Isis: Luxurious dining at the Luxor
We were made to feel like royalty when we entered Isis. Our waiting staff (Joseph, Jean Pierre, Lee) made sure that everything was perfect.
The interior was beautiful, private, quiet, and romantic.
Favorite Dish: We started off with the Baked Prawns Stuffed w/ Crabmeat and the Avocado and Crabmeat Salad. Our entrees were Bouillabaisse and a Trio of Meats (Veal, Filet, Lamb). The desserts looked fantastic but we just didn't have room.- Casino and Gambling

Gardunos: Somewhat disappointing, then redemption
Ended up travelling to the Palms specifically for this restaurant only to get stuck with a brunch buffet. Part of the allure was the never-ending glass of margarita, which was good, but the buffet food itself was pretty average. Still good enough to stuff myself on! At the end, we did get soapapillas, but that's not really up my alley. Right next to the casino, but it has a large seating area so noise wasn't too big a concern. Lots of cool looking items hanging on the walls. Wait staff was friendly. Probably a little pricier than the quality dictates.
Update: 2009, tried this again for lunch with much better results. I tried fish tacos, the fish was tasty and plentiful. I also went with a cup of tortilla soup that was really good, and capped it off with a mango margarita, which went down quickly! Much better experience, and I would definitely now go back again.
Favorite Dish: They had a great chips and salsa bar. -
Luxor Buffet: Luxor Buffet
Experience eating at the Luxor Buffet. The motif is totally amazing. You will be more amazed more of the architecture and design of the buffet restaurant than the food itself. You will see huge ropes and huge rough logs, wells and big stones like you are in a different time and space.
Favorite Dish: Everything is excellent. Just make sure that when you go to the dinner buffet, arrive earlier. There are many choices of food from salads to soups. It's all you can eat, so bring your appetite after an all-day of walking!- Budget Travel

Luxor - Sunday Brunch Buffet: Don't Come Hungry
The Sunday brunch buffet at Luxor will leave you hungry. There was no line for a reason. The food selection ranged from waffles to roast turkey, but the quality of food leaves much to be desired. Taste and quality of all varieties of food were subpar. The dessert selections looked a lot better than they tasted. Skip this buffet.

Sea Blue: Michael Mina's Seafood Experience
San Francisco based celebrity chef, Michael Mina has several restaurants in Las Vegas. Among them is Sea Blue, specializing in seafood. Located in the MGM Grand the menu is dominated by fish but meat eaters will find a few options as well, such as lamb, chicken and steak. The food is good, but as I tend to find throughout Las Vegas, it’s never quite as good as the same restaurants back on their home turf. The service is excellent and they feature a nice wine list. We had a nice meal when we dined here. The shellfish platter was amazing. The king crab legs were huge and scrumptious. The oysters were delicious. As usual, the signature dishes like the lobster corndogs and the root beer float were a pleasure (although the chocolate chip cookies weren’t up to par). I would recommend this place for seafood lovers while in Vegas.
Favorite Dish: I had the grilled scallops and enjoyed it. If you’re up for the splurge (it is Vegas afterall) the Lobster is great as is the shellfish appetizer platter and of course, the lobster corn dog appetizer.- Food and Dining

Hamada of Japan: If you want to eat healthy, you have to be wealthy
It's a long way from the sea in Las Vegas. So deciding on sushi for dinner at the Hamada restaurant at the Luxor Hotel is perhaps not the cheapest option. And after a day of sightseeing and a couple of hours at the pool, the little Clavens had worked up a ravenous appetite. When they finally stopped eating and old Cliffie had finished his second bottle of Asahi, he asked for the bill. Mrs Claven thought he was having a heart attack but he recovered quickly and realised he'd have to use his Gold card. Mrs Claven asked what the bill came to. Old Cliffie didn't dare tell her. But they both agreed it was the best sushi they had eaten outside Japan.

Backstage Deli: Quick and easy sandwiches
Just stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Fairly wide selection of sandwiches with "food court" style seating. It's tucked away in a corner of the casino, so you can eat in relative peace. They stacked the sandwich high with meat. Overall, a solid choice for a fast meal.
Favorite Dish: The corned beef sandwich - lots of meat, very satisfying. -
Company American Bistro: Anytown Menu at Vegas Prices
The only reason I ate at this spot was to gain VIP access to both LAX and Pure, at the time 2 of the top Vegas Clubs. The menu was easy, simple anytown items, i was suprised to see chicken and waffles as an entree item here! For 2, expect a bill around $150 with 2 drinks, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. This said, the table gets in VIP at the 2 clubs, and that saves you a long wait in line plus the $20 per person cover. If you're going into LAX anyways, you can't beat being walked in after dinner!
Favorite Dish: I liked the mushroom side with my beef :)- Road Trip

More (Luxor's Buffet): Cheap...
Located at the base of the Luxor Pyramid my review of More as follows:
Price - very good
Lunch buffet for $12 ($15 if you're not staying at Luxor), a very tough price to beat since you'll be spending around the same amount for a sandwich combo at a deli.
Selection - poor
There's no crab legs, cocktail shrimps, dim sum items or cook to order noodles. I guess you get what you pay for.
Food - poor to average
Although the salad bar is good the warm meal selection is disappointing. The oriental cuisine is tasteless, the pizza taste like a cheap frozen brand. The fish and meatloaf were ok. Dessert sort of salvaged the meal in the end.
Ambiance - average
Decoration was quite nice, seat was comfortable. The restaurant is rather warm and humid which was kinda weird since the Luxor is generally cold
Overall - average
If it's not for the cheap price I will not consider coming back here. I can see myself coming back since I don't normally go to fine restaurants for lunch. If the option is paying $11 for a sandwich combo at a deli or $12 to go to this buffet I'd rather do the latter. -
Sacred Sea Room: If you like it hot.....
Service was exceptional even tho the ambience was a little strained, the sort of place where you feel you must whisper. The food was superb so worth the quiet ambience.
UPDATE: June 2007. Sorry folks you missed out as they have closed this restaurant together with its sister the Isis. The Luxor is upgrading the hotel to a more modern theme so very shortly all those lovely Egyptian artefacts and knick-knacks will be gone!
Favorite Dish: If you like hot spicy food then you must try the Alaskan King Crab claws with the hottest horseradish sauce ever!! Guaranteed to blow your head off...or at least make your eyes water! -
Luxor Buffet: Phwarr!!
Great value for money for a huge variety of international cuisines.
Oh aye, the best bit abou it - it's ALL YOU CAN EAT!!
Favorite Dish: They had:
fresh salad
pasta
pizza
Chinese food
soup
carvery
all kinds of yummy sweets!
