I suggest you to ask for safari representative these few essential questions before makes the deal done. Is there a Desert Safari Company ? 3rd party or Freelancer Agent ? Burj Khalifa
The design is borrowed from stenciling Islamic architecture, the Y shape plan designed for hotels and residential usage. The structural system support the height of building which consists of a hexagonal core reinforced by 3 buttresses that form the Y shape. This design enables the building to support itself laterally and keeps it from twisting...

We never ever intended to spend time in any part of Dubai except its dramatically glitzy airport. However, a technical hitch delayed our Emirates Airline departure from London to Dubai, where we had to make a connection with a flight to Bangalore. The delay caused us to miss our flight. So, emirates put us up in a hotel (Copthorne) near the Airport...

Burj Al Arab
It describes itself as Arabic but, I'd say that in terms of cuisine, it is more International than Arabic, as it served a bit of Asian, Indian, and Greek as well. In terms of decor & interiors, it is Modern, Aristocratic Arabic. During daytime, its opulence is on your face! During nighttime, the opulence is joined by romanticism. So, immediately,...

Buses
Buses make up a large part of Dubai's public transport system, and will take you to places the metro (and new trams) can't reach, like Jumeirah beach. You will recognize the bus stops by their space age design - they are air conditioned metal boxes. Unfortunately, if the air conditioning isn't working, the interior of the metal box becomes a...

Missed Mall
This was my only victory: twice we passed in front of Mercatto, and twice I escaped! Please don’t tell anything to Fernanda, otherwise I may be asked to start immediately planning a second visit.I was kidding, of course!Honestly, I have problems in my conscience:Does it have a Zara and an H&M or not? And Mango? Is it big or small? And…Oh my God!...

Gold
One of the recommended goods to buy in Dubai is… gold. If you know what you want, and are sure about how to choose, the gold souk will be your universe. I can’t recommend one shop: they stand door after door, and you will end losing yourself in the golden maze, searching for your precious ornament. The prices seem to be good, but… it’s gold, you...

Alcohol.
If it is a religious holiday when you visit Dubai, all bars will be closed and you will not be able to purchase alcohol in any hotel restaurant. When this happens, we have discovered that you can still order room service in your hotel room and that hotels are perfectly happy to serve you draft beers along with your meals. The down side as you could...

Weather
Take seriously, very seriously, all the warnings about dehydration. I only exposed myself to the sun for the needed seconds to enter the water, and had no problems, but Fernanda likes to stay under the sun, and even bypassing the “killing hours” of the day, she had problems twice. Even before 10 AM, twice she felt… something she was not able to...

Heatstroke
Dubai is unbearably hot in summer. When we were there in July it went to 48 degrees. Try to make sure you spend a short time outdoors. Keep escaping to air-conditioned places. If you are trying to walk anywhere, take frequent rests in air- conditioned bus stops. Wear a hat and high factor sun screen. Stock up on bottles of water.

Dubai Marina
One day, this will be a rich and luxury place to live, but that wasn't what I found. Be careful when booking your hotel, because you risk to get installed in the middle of a noisy and dusty construction site. It must be a lively place, nowadays, but,,, distances are still the same, isn't it?

A few things had changed for the better on the Shindaga Waterfront Area. One improvement was a section on deserts containing desert animals.
