Dubailand is an entertainment complex being built in Dubai owned by Tatweer. Build on an area of 278 km2 (107 sq mi) and include 45 "mega projects" and 200 sub projects.

The establishment is divided into six zones the so called "worlds" .

Attractions and Experience World, Sports and Outdoor World, Eco-Tourism World, Themed Leisure and Vacation World, Retail and Entertainment World, and Downtown. Twice the size of Walt Disney World Resort, and will be the largest collection of theme parks in the world, however, no theme park in Dubailand will surpass Disney's Animal Kingdom (located at Walt Disney World Resort) as the world's largest theme park.

The Sahara Kingdom theme park, situated in the Attractions & Experience World, covering 460,000 m2 (4,951,399 sq ft) and will combine high end virtual and physical theme park rides, attractions such as a state of the art gaming zone, IMAX theater, and integrated live and virtual entertainment shows, together with a retail zone, four hotels and residential accommodations.

The theme of the development is traditional Arabian folklore and the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.

The easy thing would be a tour witch you can book in the airport (also in the transit/shopping arera), unfortunately it is now $ 60. The Metro rus now to the airport (until midnight), and there are also buses and nightbuses (also the airport). If you click on Google maps on the bus ikons, it will show you where the buses are running from that station.

2005 saw the 9th International Aerospace Exhibition in the series to take place in Dubai. Since 1999 it has moved to a new home at Airport Expo with purpose built exhibition facilities. One of the highlights is the incredible display of skill by the UK's Red Arrows.

you can experience the ancient and modern dubai with a "dubai city tour" within a half day and payment of 100-140 DH per person.inside the old dubai, you pass the Royal Sheikh Palace to the Dubai Creek,Mercato(the italian style shopping centre in renaissance architecture),and Jumeirah Beach.you'll pass the modern highways in Bur Dubai and see Dubai Internet city,Media city,modern towers and buildings in Dubai Marina and go to Palm Island,the first man-made Island inside the persian gulf,in the shape of palm.then you visit outside Burj Al Arab(the only 7* hotel in the world, symbol of dubai) and Madinat Jumeirah(a touristic city,composed of old arabic architecture and citadels with modern shoppings next to a nice and calm river)and after all you visit the Ibn Battuta shopping centre with the architecture of 6 ancient civilizations: China,India,Egypt,Iran,Andolos(spain) and Tunnis.and at last you will go to the Emirates Mall to visit the indoor Dubai Ski Pist.in some programmes,dinner is included.we had it at KFC in Emirates Mall.

The creek divides Dubai into two parts: Deira Dubai and Bur Dubai. The creek is 14 Kms long. It now has eight wharfages each capable of catering to 31 ships of capacity of up to 800 tonnes.. A boat tour on the creek is something I highly reccomend.
Probably because my best memories of Dubai are linked to this peace of sea, it's better to take the tour around sunset for better views.
Just go at the Creek and you will be offered tours from many guys, prices seem to not be negotiable but we did not try as 1 hour tour for about 12 euros in 3 seemed ok.
You can also take these boats just to cross the river which saves you from the huge Dubai car traffic, it's really inexpensive though I do not remember the exact price.
The boats you see during this tour are an example of the legal and sometime illegal traffics betwen Emirates and the other countries of the penninsula. Around 720,000 tonnes of cargo pass through the creek each year. Only wooden ships are allowed to enter the creek to keep its traditional feature.

All hotels have a list of tours and activities in the lobby. Somethings it's cheaper to go on your on in a taxi (like taking pictures of specific buildings around town or the local museums). That way you don't have to wait for the group. Most tours aren't expensive and you even can book a helicopter for great photos and sight seeing.
