Paul Boulangerie & Restaurant - Emirates Mall, Dubai

You would know that even though there is a proliferation of Coffee Shops and Bakery Restaurants in Dubai like Tim Horton's Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Black Canyon Coffee, etc, there is still a market for the more upscale french bakery and restaurant kind the the Paul International Boulangerie Represents. They have 10 branches around Dubai and the Branch we visited was the the Ground Level of the Bur Juman Mall.

Favorite Dish: they have a dizzying array of coffee, french pastries, french macaroons, cheesecakes, crepes, soups and more. Cafe Au lait at 20 AED an order (one size only), Cheesecakes at AED 22, french macaroons at AED 8 per piece.

The restaurant is in the Mall of the Emirates, and quite popular as almost all the tables were full when we went. The service was good and the prices were reasonable,and the portions were more than we could finish.
Ther is a large case with a lot of delicious looking cakes, tarts and eclaires etc. One customer was raving about the Black Forest Gateau.

Favorite Dish: I had Forestiere which was chicken cooked with mushrooms and cheese sauce. It was quite acceptable and came with a green salad.
My daughter had a caesar salad and or friend a turkey sandwich,
We also had the chicken and mushroom soup which was good.

Inside the Bur Juman shopping mall, on the ground floor, you can find the wonderful Paul's French Bakery... a bakery in style with delicious food. It's a perfect place for a lunchtime snack.

Favorite Dish: Baguettes and sandwiches to die for... salads, too. Croque-monsier from heaven.
