't Goede Soet is a small shop filled with special chocolats, Candy and more handmade sweets.

Entering the shop will lead to buying some of the mouthwatering goodies.

What to buy: Chocolats

A smallish shop on Damrak.that also sells s Tee/Football shirts and other local Souvenirs, including Cheese, drinks etc.

. Dont be put off by this, his chocolates are out of this world. He works and serves in the shop himself, together with another long standing assistant.

They wil make up and gift wrap the box, to your specifications, there and then. Normal price e2/3 per 100 grams. which is very reasonable, Gift boxes start around Euro 7 up to as big as you want. He , Robert, and the staff speak many laguages, but if he dosnt speak yours, you can always point.!!

Better Chocs and much better service than some of the more prominant Chocolate shops.

What to buy: also sells a range of pre packed confectionary, boxes, choc bars etc. The loose ones displayed on the counter are best.

What to pay: 2 to 3 euro per 100 gs.

This is a prime shopping intersection in Amsterdam if chocolate & trichomes are your priorities:

Singel and Oude Leliestraat near the eastern boundary of the Jordaan.

On your left: the best chocolate in the world (pucinni koffie bonbons);
On your right: trichomes from grey area;

Adjourn to the terrace for grins.

What to buy: pucinni koffie bon bons; grey mist crystals;

What to pay: Total expense: maybe $35. Definitely a cheap date.

Unlimited Delicious is a shop where housemade food goodies are sold.
It's a wide range from chocolats up to Ice cream and pastries.

The shop offers workshops from 10 to 70 Euro (bon bon / pastry workshop).

There is a very small seating area for having a bite and a drink.

You just have to explore this shop.

The best place we found to buy chocolate. Their cappiccino cups are awesome. We also got candy cigarettes for the grand kids. I never seem to buy enough of this candy when I am there.

What to buy: This is the best place to buy chocolate.

What to pay: As much as you want depending on how much candy you want.

If you are staying in Amsterdam South, near Beethovenstraat or Gelderlandplein make sure you make a stop at Huize van Welly chocolate and cake bakery.

This is one of the top 5 shops I miss from Amsterdam.

I used to live close to their Gelderlandplein shop and it is a heaven for chocolate lover like myself.
They have premium cakes, ice cream cakes, chocolates and truffels. Their champagne truffels is just amazing. Their cakes are wonderful too and they have everything from chocolate, lemon, berries, caramel and hennessy.

Their Groot Gelderlandplein shop reminds me somewhat to a jewellery shop where the cake and chocolates are kept behind a glass showcase drawers. The shop assitant dressed in white chef-like uniforms with white gloves. If you like chocolate, you will like Wely

This is new discovery for me, its a pastry and choclate shop close to where i used to work. So it was most tempting to go there,haha.
Its a small shop with a big variety, the things on display will make you mouth water and your eyes pop out. Because it doesn't only taste good, there is also taken great care about the appearance of the cakes and pies.

What to buy: Mirlitons, that are bite size cakes with all kinds of flavours, walnut, almond, berries etc. Very very tasty.

What to pay: As much as you want. I bought a few mirlitons for eur 2.86 and a strawberry pie for 5 pieces for 13.50 eur. Thats not exactly cheap but that taste will make that up for me

Dutch’s famous chocolate is Droste. Be careful with the shop where you buy chocolate. I bought mine at some shop for tourist and when i ate the chocolate i noticed that it had been through heat – you notice that “whitish” cover over the chocolate. So i felt miserable looking at my favourite dark/bitter chocolate and it didn’t as good taste as usual, … which was a pitty because Droste chocolates are good.
