An arcade becomes much like a department store, in that you can find just about everything that you need or would like to collect in one of a number of stores. Nick nacks are my speciality. Usually no more that 20 euro (would this be around 40,000 lira?)

Beware of the gremlins who get in front...
put an obstacle in your path so that you fall flat on your face like I did. I then had cause to sit and reflect here, while watching my knee swell to twice its normal size and I generally felt sorry for myself.

I was moving in to get a close up of the ancient rock work in Tiberius' cave and clicked at the precise moment that I caught this movement out of the corner of my eye.......I am surprised that the photo is in focus. Sperlonga Tourist Traps

If You Don't Like Crowds Avoid August...
Sperlonga gets very, very busy in August, and hotels and restaurants near the beach can be rather expensive.
Unique Suggestions: Best months to visit are May / June and September / October.
Fun Alternatives: Consider finding accommodation outside of Sperlonga, perhaps in a peaceful retreat near the mountain town of Itri.
Please take a look at my "Itri Pages" at Virtual tourist.
