This was a fantastic journey. It takes several hours to cross from New Ireland to New Britain. The volcano in front of Rabaul is beautiful since from the distance. In general all the island of New Britain is very pretty.

Go and see the local ladies making shell jewelry which they use for currency and trading, and the the wood carving done by the men.
If you are going to buy anything {which you should ) you are best to buy it from these people as the money goes straight to there community with nobody else taking a cut. plus it's cheaper than at the airport

It was original. It was located in the stadium close to Kavieng. But you are not alllowed to get inside with the ball; you have to leave it outside, in the field.

The only way to get there is flying
I waited 6 days in Madang for a plane to get to Kavieng. There were no ferrys. Unfortunately, the airplane ticket is expensive.
