It is not aussie owned but aussie themed. Simon (the owner) did not look after me, otherwise I would of woken up in a park...robbed of everything because someone spiked my drink.
It was a very quiet night too.
Be aware, very very aware.
I would not recommend this place and to steer right away from here.

Dress Code: Where a money belt

Aussie theme pub that is tourist friendly and safe. Simon the owner puts a lot of effort into ensuring that his drinkers are well looked after. He is also a mine of information for things like a good place to go and eat or an ATM that works. I call in when ever I am in town.

Definitely a hangout for Aussie expats and tourists. Good choice of beers and as long as you are into the Aussie sports scene plenty of TV screen to watch.. It was fairly quiet the night I stopped by but I gather it can get very busy.

Blue Gecko is an Aussie-owned bar in the heart of District 1. It's popular with the expat community. Blue Gecko offers good music, pool and darts. It's a bit small, so it can get quite crowded and smokey.

Dress Code: As with most places in Saigon, you can come as you like. However, if you don't want to feel out of place, dress casual.
