I really enjoyed shopping in this area. There were lots of things to choose from, from clothes to beauty products to gift items. There were even cheap contact lens solution and beauty needs. There are also shoes and fashionable Korean clothes for men and women. There were also shops that gave freebies and i really had fun. Your money can go a long way especially if you are a budget traveller. There are also restaurants (english and korean menu) around where you can rest and eat if you get tired of shopping. There is also a mall and a grocery store in the area.
i think the cheapest shopping area is ewha women's university besides myeondong. u can get a t-shirts and tops up to 2000 won which equal to USD 2 . cheap is it? the trick is u have to walk deep into the street stalls . the streets can be confusing but u can just walk around the place ..if u wanna go back to the subway just ask any locals they will happily guide you !~

The Ewha area always makes for a good time. Sometimes hard to find anything in your size, but I've gotten some good stuff. There are lots of stores (Star market is worth a look) and a street of vendors selling everything from jewerly, sunglasses, CDs, clothes and snacks.
What to buy: There are also ton of well- priced great restaurants (especially sushi) in the area to grab a bite.
What to pay: It's on the cheaper side closer to the vendors area although there are some more expensive stores around and western stores like Puma as well.
For women, that is very nice place to buy clothes,
Fancy, normal, cute, formal clothes for women but unluckily usually there is only one size .
Be careful, this area is very wide but these shops are located only VERY NEXT STREET TO THE FRONT GATE OF Ewha Univ. >
What to pay: 15 USD ~ 50 USD~ etc
Just north of Ewha Women's University is a great shopping area for what? You guessed it -- women's clothing. In this area you will find hundreds of shops selling purses, pants, shoes, shirts, jewelry, and every imaginable accessory. There are also a few good restaurants and cafes in the area.
This area is super cool with mostly college students hangin around. There are many cool retro shops by Ewha University. There are many comfortable coffee shops and cafes to visit. Shopping in this area is affordable and the quality is good.
