What I like at the Saloma is that also a Culture Show w local dances and dancers r to be seen .... Good to be part of Asian traditions as having ur dinner ...

Its a buffet, very well sorted, soups, satays, sea food, noodles, fried rice etc, and also yummy desserts ....

Located in Golden Triangle and in walking distance to Petronas Towers.

Very recommendable Restaurant for its tasty food and culture dance shows ...

Favorite Dish: All kinds of Far East food, especially satays and shrimps r my favorites ... :)

this is a must do when in KL.
the show was fabulous. Our young children sat thru the entire performance.
The food was delicious with a wide range of malaysian cusine.
At the end of the show diners are invited up on stage to give the dancing a go.

Favorite Dish: A great way to sample the local cuisine with, although dessert selection wa very limited.

the table settings and the stage the performance pictures with the dancers

This restaurant is named after the 1960s heartthrob of the golden era of the Malay Movie world. During her lifetime, Saloma or her real name Salmah Ismail was also a singing sensation captivating millions of ardent fans with her sultry voice. She was a household name in the Malay Archipelago, from Malaysia to Indonesia to Brunei. In 1961 she married fellow actor the prodigious P.Ramlee (late), the man of many talents. They became the most loved screen couples the Malay movie world ever had. The Theatre Restaurant offers special Malaysian buffet dinner with one-hour cultural dance. The dance finale showcases the ethnic diversity of Malaysia and is named "Malaysia Truly Asia". Please visit the following link for a picture essay on the cultural dances.

Favorite Dish: The buffet menu is a combination of all time Malaysian favourites such as beef rendang, fish curry, the Malay-style ox tail soup, satay and a variety of local desserts.
