La Bodega, Kuala Lumpur

This is probably KL's most famous and favourite deli. One would normally find the usual faces hanging out here for great food, relaxing place and fabulous drinks. The one I'm referring to is the original La Bodega in Telawi 2 and not the one in Bangsar Shopping Center. I'm not very fond of the latter.

A must try when you're in Bangsar. It opens from Noon to 1am on Monday - Friday and 10am - 1am on weekends.

Favorite Dish: Gambas al Ajillo, Albondigas Saint Climent.

We had our VT Meet at La Bodega at 31 Jalan Tenkat Tong Shih on 2 Sep 2006.

This place is not difficult to find as there is a lot of pubs and restaurants along this street.
They serve excellent tapas. We had chicken, mushroom, eggplant, meatball, prawns tapas. We dip the bread into the delicious sauce of the tapas.
We had Paella too.

There was live music and some of us were singing along with the singers.


Favorite Dish: Tapas

I went to the La Bodega around Changkat Bukit Bintang for Sangria and tapas. They have a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian tapas to suit the taste of the masses e.g paprika, tortilla & seafood served hot & cold. The enviroment is cosy & pleasant with the terracota tiles which line the floors and table top. Apart from tapas, you can also order rice dishes or paella and sweet desserts.

This place used to be non-halal whereby pork tapas was on the menu but now you won't find such dishes. Pity though, the pork tapas was one of my favorites

This is a pleasant restaurant serving authentic tapas in the Bangar area. A great place to sit outside with friends or for a romantic meal.

Favorite Dish: While La Bodega also has a dining room and bistro, I'd opt for the small tapas dishes you can share with a loved one or friends. They have more than thirty tapas dishes, and always some specials ones too. Great South American and spanish wines (and martinis) too.
