Zouk Club, Kuala Lumpur

An amazing spot, probably the busiest and most famous nightclub in Malaysia. The last time I was here, Lil Kim was singing and a huge breakdancing display was being put on.

4 rooms, hundreds of square kilometers of dance floor, cheap entry for girls on Thursday nights.

Dress Code: Fancy - no sneakers.

It's a big club with nice atmosphere. There's a VIP section on the upper level which is a good place to hang out. It's a trendy club where all the clubbers would go before Zeta bar opens. I still go to Zouk every once in a while.It's not as great as it used to be but it's a good place. Music here is good. One of the top clubs in town.

I hardly club at Zouk in Singapore, so I was a little apprehensive about partying at Zouk, KL. But the club did not disappoint me. Ladies night on Thursdays with free entry and 2 drinks for ladies. After 1 a.m., drinks were at 1-for-1 and they were pretty good drinks too! Crowd was a young mix of locals and foreigners. The music set was expected of Zouk i.e. better than most clubs in KL!

Dress Code: No slippers.

Great place but the music could be better. I was told I had to pay to get in like everyone else, even though it was my birthday. Any way I was in a good mood and with a free drink included in the price I though it was fair. Now what they don't tell you is that you cannot drink everything. I only drink Malibu with pineapple juice and that is not a free drink. So I got mean and complained. The manager was brilliant, he understood my angle, no where do they have advertised the type of drinks included in the entrance fee. So he told me I could come back that same night, still my birthday, and have a drink on the house. It was also ladies night so ladies could come in for free anyway until a certain time.

I gor there that night was given my drink and as a gesture of good will they offered one to my friend too.

Upstairs there is a bar - the Loft. Good music on fridays.

The other club next door to the right plays house music mainly but when we went in was empty, shame, it was quite nicely decorated too.

Dress Code: Dress to impress. Busy place with locals and expats.

This super club from Singapore is well-known for bringing in up-and-coming DJs and well-known faces like Dimitri and Paul van Dyk, as well as for their Wednesday Mambo Nights.

The sprawling complex has 4 sections, the main Zouk club, Velvet Underground and 2 bars offering different moods and ambiences.

Admission charges including 1 drink range from RM25 to RM40 depending on time, gender and day.

I have not see much reviews on Zouk Club after visiting all night clubs & pubs in KL I found this one better. Various DJ's come here to play on thursdays they have dancing competition where local boys show off their dancing skills quite good ambience but gets crowded after 12:30 AM all young crowd enjoying drinks and yes dancing to the tune. Crowd is really good here thats what my opionion but worth going.

This Singapore club has branched out to KL with this club comprising of two dance floors called Velvet and Zouk.

If you forget your pants in Singapore and try to get inside in shorts, you can forget it, so my tip stops here... Went to the bar street around the corner but that's another story.

Zouk is a sister outlet of the Singapore Zouk. It houses several outlets within a unique-looking building... It has 5 outlets viz the Terrace Bar, Loft, Main Room, Velvet and Velvet Underground...

The Terrace Bar is a cosy hangout for a quiet drink or warm up session.... the Loft is a small and intimate bar..while the Velvet has a dim settling where house music rules...

The main dancing halls are the Main Room and Velvet Underground...

Dress Code: The Terrace Bar and Loft is opened everyday from 6:00pm... The Velvet is opened everyday (except Mondays) from 9:00pm. The Main Room runs from Thursdays to Saturday... Cover charges are RM30 before 11:00pm and thereafter RM38 (ladies) and RM45 (guys)....House pouring drinks are premium brands like Smirnoff, Jim Beam and Captain Morgon, ranging from RM13.50 a shot in the Main Room to RM18.00 a shot in the Velvet...

Opened on the 25th of March 2004, this is KLs latest addition to the club scene.

Originating from Singapore, Zouk decided to make their branch in KL due to many reasons where one of them being that South East Asia should be the Clubbing Central!

Singaporean-Malaysian owned, Zouk in the most hottest, most talked about club in town. Recently, Zouk played host to World Number 1 DJ, Tiesto who played to a packed house sponsored by Heiniken Beer. It was SO pack-jammed, that Pre-Ordered ticket holders were turned away due to the massive crowd which many were left unhappy even though they were refunded.

Zouk also has 3/4 main rooms catering to different degigns and music.
