SkyBar is located on the top floor of the Traders hotel, around the hotel's pool. It is partially open and offers amazing nigh time views of the Petronas towers. We went there one night after shopping, sat on the bar stools and ate mini burgers with our cocktails. Good selection of cocktails.
Try to get the couches!

To enjoy the skyline of Kuala Lumpur at night, there's nothing better than to start or to end your walk through the city in a bar on top of one of those skyscrapers. My choice would be the Luna Bar, but if a 50 RM entry fee and a party atmosphere scare you away, the Sky Bar is a good alternative. It is on top of the Trader's Hotel, close to the Petronas Towers. Places with good view are not easy to get, but wandering through the bar, you will see KL's skyline too. Unlike the Luna Bar, all places are glassed and the whole bar is covered. But compared to the Luna Bar, the Sky Bar offers a more relaxing, but still high-class atmosphere.
Dress Code: There are no official dresscodes, just don't stand out in a negative way (short trousers may be OK, tank tops for men rather not).

Rounding out the evening, we headed for the SkyBar on the 33rd floor of the Traders Hotel. Boasting an excellent view of the Petronas Towers at night, Skybar is an open air bar that is actually the hotel swimming pool area which is converted into a bar at some point in the evening with cushioned seating and tables. Service is excellent, they have an extensive cocktails menu and they play some great music. It's a memorable way to finish up the evening. I would say it's a great place to spend quite a bit of time relaxing, talking and just looking at the view.
