Britto's: Best Casual All Day Dining on the Beach
Update: Recently visited Britto's and I'm sad to say it was not up to its usual standards. The food was cold and the usually good desserts were mediocre. They have also covered the whole top of the restaurant which makes it very dark inside and takes away from the "beachy" atmosphere. I'd like to chalk the bad food up to a bad day in the kitchen so would still give it a try when in Baga.
Britto's is a casual restaurant located right on the beach at Baga. It's definitely one of my favorite places in Goa. It is a large place - not quite like a typical shack. They serve Goan, Continental, Indian, and Chinese dishes. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The Goan curry and vindaloo dishes are very good but my favorites are the continental chicken dishes. There are very good desserts - chocolate mousse, pies, etc. so be sure to save some room!
Britto's is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I love going there for breakfast. It's wonderfully relaxing to feel the sand between your toes while watching the action on the beach. You are literally steps from the beach.
Service is very good and the staff are really friendly.
I'd still give Britto's is a try while in Goa!- Singles

Brittos- bagha: Cheapest authentic sea food
Brittos - while other shacks have seasonal flow of tourists...Brittos has flow of people all year. great palce to see the sea and the tourists do silly things in the sea
Enjoy a beer and order the Sea food platter...it would cost you 5 times anywhere else and not even half as fresh
Favorite Dish: i had the seas food platter. the crab and mussels were great, the calamari was too heavy for my taste, the prawns were great............Start with the platter and then see what tastes best and order that..everything tastes nice with a beer! -
Brittos in Baga: Not bad bite
Not bad hang out. Bit on the exspensive side but loved the garlic king prawns. Nice setting on Baga beach near Baga, if you ask the waiter to sit near the end of the restaurant its on the beach under the stars. I like Brittos and think its a decent hang out, however the other half didnt really like the food and thought it was overpriced.
Favorite Dish: King prawns , grilled in garlic sauce.. mmmmmm the best!! -
BRITTO'S: A delicious landmark of Baga Beach...
The sun is setting, your tummy grumbles, your mouth is dry, and your feet are tired... head down to Baga Beach to somewhat of a landmark in Goa: Britto's!
They have Goan and also Continental specialties, and both are good. There's finger-licking yummilicious local seafood as well as delecacies for vegetarians.
The staff were friendly & knowledgeable, and really helped us to make the best choices with our food. It was definitely a very refreshing & hospitable experience :-)
The ambience is crowded but cozy - lively but not annoyingly so - relaxing lighting inside, and moon shine outside :-)
Favorite Dish: Don't miss the seafood platter, which 3 of us girls tucked into; the fresh crab, and of course the cocktails with vodka, rum & the local "Feni" (made from either coconut or cashew)
Wait! Leave some space for the amazing desserts, otherwise you'll regret it! And don't forget to pick-up some of their home baked bread for next day's breakfast.
NOTE: Get there early to get a table, because it gets crowded really quickly.
This is a permanent structure, not a shack.- Family Travel

Brittos: Great local setting
One of the first places we stopped at for authentic local Goan food. Britto's does a really great job with their Goan dishes and their other European dishes. They seem to be the place to go for good food of any taste. Right off of Baga beach they have a great view and have another dining area with a stage for live bands to play. Their Goan menu is fairly diverse and their dessert menu is extensive. Feni is also served either caju or palm, as well as plenty of Kingfisher.
Favorite Dish: Anything you try that is Goan if you haven't had it before-this is the place to try it. They have quite a few of the most well known Goan dishes on the menu. The sorpotel here (a local Goan dish that is a type of pork stew) is very spicy. It may always be like that. What I was able to eat was really good.
Britto's desserts are also very good. I had a mango custard cake which was really great.- Food and Dining

Britto's: Britto's
Located on the far side of Baga close to Arpora is a local favorite. Most of the time you'll see it packed with Indian families sharing an evening with friends and family. The food is good, the service better than most places and the atmosphere has a very laid back madrid cafe feel.
Favorite Dish: The Ham and Cheese Sandwiches are what i've sampled but i hear almost everything on the specials menu is worth a try. Once again britto's has a bakery specializing in pastries and local sweets.- Family Travel

Britto's: Seafood/ Multi cuisine
Britto's is among the popular restaurants/shacks/beach bars, and specialises in sea-food.
Favorite Dish: The sea food-platter was a hit with most people around... though for me, a not-so-enthusiastic person with sea food, i stuck to chicken:P
The food took its own time in showing up though. The tourist season and the numbers took its toll on the service...- School Holidays

One of the regular haunts when on a trip to goa....try the seafood platter, some prawn curry or even some steak! All good here...oh, make sure to save space for dessert!:)
And dont worry, in goa-everything's super cheap!
Favorite Dish: Great seafood!
