Archangel St.Michael | The monument to Archangel St.Michael, Kiev |
He is the Patron Saint of the city. The statue stands on the Gate of Archangel St.Michael in the middle of the main square of Ukraine - Independence Square. Archangel St.Michael is also represented at the city's coat-of-arms.

| The monument to Prince Volodymyr |
| | St.Volodymyr the Baptist Prince Volodymyr baptized the feudal state of Kiev Rus in 988. You can see this wonderful monument erected in 1953 on St.Volodymyr Hill behind the Ukrainian House exhibition and business center.
|
St.Andrew, the Patron Saint of Ukraine You can see this monument walking down St.Andrew's Descent, one of the most famous streets of Kiev. He is pointing at the city hills saying there will be a great city on those hills. The Orthodox Christians called this saint St.Andrew the First Called. St.Andrew’s Descent is called after Apostle St.Andrew who, according to ancient chronicles, sailed up the River Dnipro from the Black Sea and predicted there would be a huge city on the hills that he saw sailing along the Dnipro. St.Andrew’s Descent runs along St.Andrew’s Hill from St.Vladimir Street to Contract Square and has always been the shortest way from Upper Kiev to Lower Kiev.

| Mother Ukraine, Independence Square |
| | Mother Ukraine This is the statue of Mother Ukraine that stands on top of our Independence Column built in 2001. The statue represents Mother holding a branch of snowball-tree - one of the symbols of Ukraine.
|
At Night The column is especially beautiful at night when it is lighted. It was pleasant to stand in front of it thinking about the past and the present of my homeland and hoping for the best. You feel inspired and fresh and full of new ideas.

| Victory Obelisk 1941-1945 |
| | Victory Obelisk It's in Victory Square in Shevchenko Boulevard where it connects with Victory Avenue, one of the longest streets of the city. The obelisk reminds us of the terrible 1418 days of the Great Patriotic War in our country.
