In Lower KievChurch of the Assumption of the Virgin This church is located not far from Contract Square in Lower Kiev. It was originally built in 1135 and blown up by the Bolsheviks in the thirties during their wild anti-church campaigne. It was rebuilt in 1996, but looks quite ancient, doesn't it? Its full name is the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Virgin. | About VirtualTourist VirtualTourist provides advice and recommendations from real travelers like you.
