| | Where I work... I work in Ortigas Center, an area which straddles both Mandaluyong City and Pasig City. The business spill over from Ayala came to Ortigas and it is currently home of a lot of call centers. Whether that's good news or bad news is still under debate :D
The urban sprawl meets my eyes each morning when I wake up. So I race out of the city like a bat out of you know where every chance I can. :) |
| Cat on a hot tin roof : ) |
| | Weird I saw this curious thing when I visited one of Manila's University campuses. it's a statue of a cat stalking a wooden bird... There must be a story behind this, but nobody I asked seem to know anything about it! Sayang!
UPDATE:
VT Philippines member RobKSA posited that maybe, "The cat stalking a bird might be to scare the other birds from the roof, para walang tae (so there'll be no s**t) , hehehe".
As good a theory as any I can think of. :D

:D Julie Andrews was rumored to have parodied her famous song on her 69th birthday. I don't care if its just one of those urban legends. I loved it and I'm sharing it with you :
Back pains, confused brains, and no fear of sinnin', Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin', And we won't mention our short shrunken frames, When we remember our favorite things.
When the joints ache, when the hips break, When the eyes grow dim, Then I remember the great life I've had, And then I don't feel so bad.
Actually I'm a small town girl with a yen to travel. To know about my hometown please check Sariaya, My Hometown.
