Restaurant Name: Concord

I would say it is the most expensive and prestigious restaurant of all I have visited and dined at in Kiev.
It is located on the 8th floor of "Kiev-Donbas" business center in Leo Tolstoy Square in the Old City.
This restaurant is called "the flagman of creative cuisine".
It is located on the upper floor and has a summer terrace with forged furniture, so you will work hard to move your chair.
There is a nice view of Leo Tolstoy Square and of the city from above.

Favorite Dish: The dishes include varenyky (dumplings with potatoes or curds), shashlyk (barbeque), pickles and Cossack uzvar (soft drink).

Restaurant Name: Hunter

This downtown restaurant called a grill restaurant.
It is originally decorated in the style of a hunter's house and offers you excellent grilled meat and fish, including the dishes made of the wild.

The restaurant is located in the so-called Passage in Khreshchatyk.
It has a great hall, an ancient Italian music box (functioning), expert waiters, a big choice of Gergian wines from the Causacus, French wines and Crimean wines, real Italian cuisine.

Favorite Dish: lasagnia, pasta, risotto, tiramisu, true Italian coffee and cheese.

Restaurant Name: Panas

This is a fine Ukrainian restaurant (formerly called Taras) located in Shevchenko Park in front of Shevchenko University in Volodymyr Street.
It looks like a big Ukrainian hut and has a model mill inside and a straw roof like in old Ukrainian houses.
The atmosphere is lively and cozy, the waitresses are dressed in national Ukrainian suites.
There are lots of customers at any time of the day.
You can have "business lunch" (around $5-7) at lunch time there and sit at the terrace listening to the orchestra playing there on weekends.

Favorite Dish: dishes of the national Ukrainian cuisine: varenyky, pancakes, etc.
You can have so called 'complex lunch' from 12 till 3 p.m. for 35 UAH.

Restaurant Name: McDonald's

This McDonald’s restaurant is located opposite the railway station in Kiev and is always crowded.
If you would really like to have a bite at McDonald’s, you’d better take a metro train to “Khreshchatyk” station and go to another one located to the right of the exit of the metro station.
I have dined several times in both and in several others (Post Square and Obolon) and still think the one at the railway station is somehow better. Maybe I got more used to it during my business trips.

Favorite Dish: BigMac, McChicken, different hot pies (raspberry and cherry)...

It is a nice restaurant located in an entartaining complex on the River Dnipro, Embankment Highway.
This place is also a night club with a dance club, a casino, etc.
The complex is housed at the river bank in an old ship.

It's a restaurant complex located on the River Dnipro close to a picturesque park not far from the famous Paton Bridge (the unique wholly welded bridge).
The restaurant has two halls with interior in Golden baroque;
you can order sea food dishes and also dishes of the Ukrainian cuisine.
There are also hotel rooms and a sauna.
The complex is open round the clock, has a guarded parking.

The cafe is located next to the old famous "Samson Fountain" in Lower Kiev, not far from Contract Square metro station.
The Samson Fountain dates back to 1840. It was the first fountain in the city and the favorite place of meeting for city residents. Now it is out of order and is only a monument of the past.
The tent of the cafe is red and can be seen from afar. It has the advertisement of Chernihivske beer.
There are heaters inside to keep you warm in cold weather.
The atmosphere in the tent is very cozy, you feel amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, very nice, quick and good service!
There is a restaurant with the same name in Petro Sahaydachny Street.

"Corsaire" cafe located in one of the historical places of the 19th century Kiev: Petro Sahaydachny Street attracts you with its warm cozy halls and good cuicine.
The prices are a bit exaggerated, like anywhere else in downtown Kiev.

As you walk down St.Andrew's Descent, you will see this beautiful restaurant at 34 St.Andrew's Descent.
You will recognize it by a nice little bronze statue of Eros at the entrance.
The restaurant is called Za Dvoma Zaytsyamy in Ukrainian.
The menu includes Ukrainian, Russian and European dishes.
There are three halls: Refreshments,
Hunter's,
Merchant's .
The restaurant is decorated in the style of the beginning of the 20th century, after the famous comedy named In Pursuit of Two Hares that was beloved by thousands of people and is still among favorite comedies of many people.
You will emjoy the quiet and cozy atmosphere there.
There are affable waiters and waitresses and reasonable prices. You can also listen to live music and see different shows in the evening, especially on weekends.

Favorite Dish: Everything Ukrainian such as varenyky, etc.
