You can see this city from a distance thanks to its two church domes located at the foot of Fussberg - Foot Mountain.
The city is not very large: it has about 1.500 residents and the area of about 15 sq.km.
But the city has so many wonderful and attracting sites that other bigger cities may not have:
the Catholic Church, Attersee Hall, Erlebnisbad and others.

We visited this city several times during our stay in Weyregg, mainly to bathe in Erlebnisbad - city beach with fun pools.
We also attended the folk costume festival that took place in the city and visited the Virgin of Attersee Catholic Church admiring its unique altar and statues of saints, listening to its organ, and enjoying the splendid views from its observation path located behind the outside altar wall.
Once we came back to Weyregg from Attersee by car and admired the northern border of Lake Attersee and its cities that we passed through on our way.

There are so many beautiful and unique houses in the city.
You could take a picture almost of each house and write a whole story about it.
The town has also several districts - former villages - that are now included into the town area.
There is also a famous Atterseehalle - Attersee Hall - known for its wonderful picture collection and exhibitions.
