|  | In Steinbach
Weissenbach is, in fact, a part of a bigger town called Steinbach ("Stone Stream").
It is located at the place where Weissenbach falls into Lake Attersee. It's a small mountain river with very fresh and very cold water!
Weissenbach is a very picturesque part of Steinbach and provides you with different hike routes.
One day during our stay in Weyregg we decided to follow one of them

Weissenbach Stream
We went up the stream at first along the path and then went a part of our way in the stream itself.
The water was more than cold at first. It was just icy!
But later it became "warmer" and you could walk in the stream without wanting to scream out loud :-)
It was so pleasant and whenever I have a look at this picture, I want to try that hike again.

We did not go very far up the stream, but stayed at one place in the stream's middle part to make a fire, have lunch and relax.
It was very good experience, especially entering the cold mountain stream for the first time!
